Your membership helps fund our campaigning, events and community  outreach, and ensures we can continue building a fairer, more inclusive  Islington led by local people.

• Attend our Annual General Meeting and vote, including at the AGM on 28 January 2026
• Have a direct voice in shaping our constitution, rules, and internal structures
• Elect ICI officers and hold them to account
• Put forward motions, proposals, and amendments for members to debate and vote on
• Take part in democratic decision making about the future direction of ICI
• Help shape our local priorities and policy positions based on issues raised by residents
• Stand as a counsellor candidate for internal roles or working groups, subject to eligibility
• Support the development of a genuinely grassroots alternative to traditional party politics in Islington
• Be part of a growing network of local residents, activists, and councillors working collaboratively for change
